What pulls air into your lungs?
Connect the outside air to the airway.
When the diaphragm contracts downward, the chest cavity expands. Lung pressure falls below the surrounding air pressure, so air flows in through the airway. Air movement is separate from gas exchange across the alveoli.
Conceptual pressure-volume relation, not measured lung pressures or medical advice. Airflow is distinct from oxygen/CO₂ exchange across the alveoli.
