Can one coil change another coil’s voltage?
Fit the core and both coils.
Alternating current in the primary creates changing magnetic flux in the core. The secondary coil receives an induced voltage proportional to its number of turns. The coils are electrically isolated. A steady DC input gives no continuous output.
Ideal lossless transformer; RMS AC voltage, 100 and 200 turns. Primary and secondary are electrically isolated. Steady DC has zero continuous induced output; startup transient is omitted.
Double the AC voltage with a 100:200 turn ratio.
Compare secondary voltage with AC and steady DC.
