How can switches make a decision?
Wire each driven input and the output before evaluating.
An AND gate outputs one only when both inputs are one. An OR gate outputs one when either input is one. A disconnected signal is unknown, so this workshop requires actual connections before calculating the result.
Exact Boolean truth tables with known driven inputs. A disconnected or multiply-driven input is unknown. Two input gates shown; signals are abstractions, not transistor-level circuitry.
Make an AND gate light only when both inputs are on.
Compare AND and OR results for the same inputs.
